Our extra-curricular highlights

Excursions
Our students thrive when given the opportunity to explore, discover, and learn beyond the traditional classroom setting. These experiences not only deepen their understanding but also help them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and see the real-world relevance of their learning.
By partnering with Heritage Small Schools for our stage excursions, we’re also building valuable connections beyond our own school community. These shared experiences foster friendships, broaden perspectives, and create a strong sense of belonging among students from different schools.

Sporting Opportunities
We’re proud to offer our students a wide range of sporting opportunities beyond traditional events like athletics and swimming. Through competitions such as Small Schools Touch and Small Schools Netball, our students experience team sports, build school spirit, and develop resilience and sportsmanship. These events also allow our students to connect with peers from other schools in a fun and active setting.

Weekly Swimming
Thanks to the support of our school and P&C, all students participate in weekly swimming lessons throughout the year. These lessons are a fantastic way for students to build essential water safety skills, improve their fitness, and grow in confidence. Providing every child with this opportunity reflects our commitment to wellbeing, skill development, and active lifestyles.

Interest Based Clubs
Our interest-based clubs give students the chance to explore new hobbies, develop skills, and connect with others who share similar passions. Each term brings something different—this term, it’s knitting!
Through the Knitting Club, students are learning patience, creativity, and the joy of making something by hand, all in a fun and supportive environment.
